Our Mission & Vision
The Air Force Association (AFA) was founded on February 4, 1946 as the first president of General Doolittle.
At that time, the main purpose was to educate the U.S. people about the importance of AIR POWER and build a consensus.
It has about 120,000 members and is a major project for active U.S. Air Force personnel, scholarships to their families and military members, student loans, and various other projects. Reward activities are conducted. This is to foster talent by promoting educational opportunities and ultimately contribute to the promotion of air force. It aims to raise and promote interest in the space field.
The U.S. Air Force Association operates more than 200 branches worldwide, and the AFA MiG Alley Chapter has been in operation for the past 40 years. During the Korean War, MiG Alley said that during the Korean War, communist fighters it is a nickname for the corridor where it entered and left, and most of the aerial battles of Hanbando Island took place here.
The Korean branch of the U.S. Air Force Association aims to strengthen the Korea-U.S. alliance and promote understanding between South Korea and the U.S. through grassroots activities to help form sincere and healthy bilateral relations based on human-to-human friendship.
